Overview
Many advantages exist in having insurance cover for your car. For one it is a legal requirement in most jurisdictions including Kenya (Chapter 405, Laws of Kenya). Motor Insurance protects you and your loved ones in the event that your vehicle is involved in an accident, is stolen or is set on fire. Sometimes someone can drive your vehicle without your authorization and so such insurance also protects other people, or third parties. So how do you protect your investment? We have different policies for motor vehicles. All these policies are designed to give you peace of mind while on the road. Our covers depend on two things, the type of motor vehicle you would like to insure, and the number of risks against which you would like to cover.
Features
At the very basic level you could choose to have the Third Party Only Cover. This is the minimum cover required by the law in Kenya. It protects third parties against bodily injury and death that maybe incurred by your vehicle as the policyholder. The other two covers are Third Party Fire and Theft and Comprehensive. We would recommend the Comprehensive Cover. We recommend it because it covers all insurable risks. These are:- Own body damage to his vehicle in case of accident Theft of the vehicle Accidental fire damage to the vehicle Third party property damage Third party bodily injuries Loss or damage to the accessories if declared at inception of the cover Legal expenses incurred with prior consent of insurers
